The Judicial Integrity Project. Improving the justice system is our priority. The Honest Judge Amendment needs your help!

Colorado ranks 22nd in U.S. population, but in the discipline of judges Colorado ranks 48th. Why? Colorado’s judicial discipline system is filled with conflicts of interest.
Judges are public servants. Then why do you know so little about a judge when you go to the voting booth? Colorado law currently requires a veil of secrecy.
You’re being kept in the dark about judges. The checks and balances in our government are not working. How do we correct the problem? By changing the law.
We need to remove the conflicts of interest in Colorado’s judicial discipline system. Because those conflicts are written into the constitution, we must edit or amend the constitution. We refer to our initiative on this issue as The Honest Judge Amendment.
The Honest Judge Amendment would transfer the power to discipline judges to the Independent Ethics Commission, which already exists and disciplines members of the executive and legislative branches. Judges should answer to the same commission that disciplines other government employees. Please volunteer and help us gather over $100,000 signatures to put it on the ballot. WE NEED THE HONEST JUDGE AMENDMENT!
