F.A.C.E.U.S. Advocates went to two hearings on March 14, 2016 at the Legislative Service Building across from the Colorado State Capitol. These two Bills were heard in front of the Judicial Senate Committee. The Colorado Bar Association Lobbied Senator Jack Tate to introduce these as clean up Bills. After testimony by several people affected by unethical practices in Probate Court the Colorado Bar Association assured The Judicial Committee that these two Bills would not abuse Probate families. The Bill SB16-131 passed 5-0. The SB16-133 passed 4-0. State Senator Jack Tate said that he would like to start a Task Force with Senator Woods in Probate Reform.
