Friends of Blair Darnell: please come to the next meeting of the New Mexico Guardianship Study Commission hearing to be held:

Friday, May 12, 2017
8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
State Bar Center
5121 Masthead St. NE
Albuquerque, NM 87109

Public comment will begin at approximately 9am and go to approximately 11:30am. Even if you don’t want to speak to the Commission and give them a piece of your mind about what you think of Judge Brickhouse’s assignment to attorney Darryl Millet to be Blair Darnell’s conservator and trustee, please show up in a show of support. Bring as many friends as you possibly can. We need to pack both the hearing room and the overflow room and parking lot with as many people as possible to prove to the Commissioners, that yes, New Mexico has a guardianship problem, and it’s not just Blair Darnell’s family that is affected.

Calling EVERY ADULT IN NEW MEXICO: If you honestly want your property to be correctly given to the heirs of your choice, as well as maintain control over who becomes your guardian(s) in the event you are declared incapacitated (whether or not you actually are incapacitated) you owe it to yourself and your loved ones and heirs to attend this meeting to make sure the Commission doesn’t whitewash and ignore the deplorable situation of court-sponsored guardianship and trust abuse that infests New Mexico’s District Courts.

If you can’t be in Albuquerque on Friday, May 12, 2017, then you can write your comments to the Commission via a submission form on this page: https://supremecourt.nmcourts.gov/new-mexico-adult…

Please, if you can, both ATTEND the May 12th Commission meeting AND WRITE the Commission via the link above, that would be super!
